Porters are characterized by their dark, rich colour and malty, chocolatey flavour. Traditionally the flavours in porters were highly influenced by the fact they were aged longer and kept in casks during their maturation process.
Our Space Cake Porter is an American-style porter beer that's brewed with a base of dark and brown malts and hopped with a generous dose of American hops. This brew also includes lactose, which gives it a signature creamy dark chocolate taste with hints of smooth espresso and dark fruit to finish.
